FAQs

  • Is there a cost for care providers to use Truly Care?

Aside from a customary background check there is no fee to use the platform.

  • Do caregivers need certifications?

Non-medical caregiving (companionship, supervision, respite, help with daily living) does not require a professional license. If a caregiver is directly hired by a family, which is the case on Truly Care, you do not need to register as a home care aide. Truly Care is not a Home Care Agency.

  • How flexible are the jobs?

Care providers set their hours and rates, and accept only the jobs that fit their schedule.

  • What time commitment is expected?

Families outline schedules in their job descriptions, and many are flexible for the right person. Be honest about your availability and what works for you. Some families prefer a longer-term commitment (often around a year), but expectations can vary.

  • Can I share this opportunity with others?

Absolutely! Please download and share our one-page flyer here or send the link to this page.
